MMG launches CEBGetAway Game for Cebu Pacific Air & VISA

Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.  Today MMG launched the CEBGetaway Campaign for Cebu Pacific Air partnering with VISA.  Australian digital consultancy and development group were tasked with the  international project by one of Asia’s most affordable airlines and from Canberra, is challenging Australians to test their “Beach Genius” for a chance to win a return ticket to the 7th most beautiful beach in the world according to Trip Advisor (2015).

Using the same tactic that increased Nike’s market share 14% over a four-year period according to LearnDash.com, the Canberra digital agency incorporated gamification to teach Australians about lesser known Philippine islands for beach lovers.

The Beach Genius Challenge game (http://www.CebuPacificGetAway.com) encourages Australians to select five images of their ideal tropical vacation beach and discover which island in the Philippines suits their preferences. Successful entries offer the player a prompt to invite friends on Facebook to take the Beach Genius Challenge and then enter to win a return trip ticket to the holiday islands Cebu, Boracay or eco-tourism haven Puerto Princesa.

Stephenie Rodriguez  is the creator of the Cebu Pacific Getaway campaign. She is the founder of global agency Mighty Media Group Pty Ltd specialising in digital, mobile and social media applications and strategy for the travel industry. Mighty Media Group was successful in winning the CEBGetaway campaign for Cebu Pacific Air and VISA in March 2015. Mighty Media Group developed the creative concept in Canberra and delivered this project with a global talent team Canberra, Sydney, and video producers in Hollywood, California.

Rodriguez says “The ‘Beach Genius Challenge’ is a fun and interactive way for Aussies to see the pristine natural beauty that is abundant in the Philippine islands and introduce Cebu Pacific Air as an affordable airline choice. Visa of course, is everywhere you want to be — and we know Australians are going to want to be in the Philippines after playing our game.”

Australians are invited to take the Beach Genius Challenge on May 25, 2015 until May 17, 2015.

Low cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air commenced flight services from Sydney International Airport to the Philippines in September 2014.
